SOX
Compliance Manager
to join their European Shared Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong audit and SOX expertise to step into a commercial environment and make a real impact.
The Role
As Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the Shared Services Centre operates within robust audit, risk, and compliance frameworks. You'll review and standardise controls, lead SOX audit activity, and provide proactive oversight on governance and risk exposure.
This is a
12-month fixed-term contract
, ideal for a qualified accountant moving from practice into industry or for someone with solid compliance experience seeking a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage SOX audits and coordinate with divisional, internal, and external auditors
* Review control evidence and ensure compliance across shared services
* Standardise processes to improve efficiency and strengthen compliance frameworks
* Provide reports and feedback to senior management on control effectiveness
* Support risk identification and remediation planning
* Communicate governance changes and compliance requirements across the business
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Background in audit (Big 4 experience advantageous)
* Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and governance frameworks
* Experience with ERP systems and strong IT skills
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational ability
* Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
Desirable:
Shared services experience, ISO 9000 knowledge or a second European language.
