This newly created Finance Manager role for a rapidly growing Private Equity firm paying £85,000 to £95,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus, based the heart of the City
Role
This Financial Controller role will be working closely with the Finance Director to put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.
1. Lead the monthly close process for overseas entities: review trial balances, journals, intercompany positions, and manage balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Liaise with local finance teams and third-party advisors to ensure timely submission of financial data and compliance with group policies.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with country/entity directors in Ireland, Asia, US, and other jurisdictions, acting as a finance business partner.
4. Take responsibility for accurate reporting and forecasting of group-level (head office and shared) costs.
5. Manage budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with business stakeholders.
6. Ensure appropriate cost allocations and intercompany recharges across divisions (e.g., Investment Trust and IPS) and subsidiary entities.
7. Support and own elements of group consolidation, including elimination entries and intercompany reconciliations for relevant entities.
8. Lead preparation of half-year and year-end group financial statements under IFRS.
9. Manage the day-to-day relationship with external Big 4 auditors.
Profile
The Financial Controller for this Private Equity is ideally for the below
10. A Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) Audit Background with at least 4 years Post Qualified Experience
11. Someone with experience with IFRS and Statutory Reporting
12. Someone who's worked in a Group Function
13. Somone who's worked with Multiple entities- Ideally Europe and UK
14. Someone from Financial Services

Salary is bench marked £85,000 to £95,000 on experience.
