About the Role
You will be delivering engaging and well-planned English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities
* Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
* Plan and deliver high-quality, structured lessons
* Support students in developing literacy, analytical, and communication skills
* Contribute to curriculum planning and department development
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement
* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in English
* Experience teaching up to GCSE level
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A passion for teaching and student success
* A proactive and organised approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
