Location: Oxfordshire

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (12-Months)

Salary: £24,500 to £25,500 per annum

Job Description

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of an established accountancy firm in Oxfordshire for a Business Support & Finance Administrator to join the team on a Fixed-Term Contract. The postholder will provide a range of administrative and information services to Partners, managers, and staff, focusing on facilities, office administration, and financial support.


Main Responsibilities

1. Support facilities management, including contractor coordination, health and safety, fire risk assessments, and property maintenance.
2. Negotiate and manage contracts with external suppliers and service providers, such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and other property-related services.
3. Manage the admin inbox and correspondence, handling issues and queries from employees and Partners efficiently.
4. Assist with Sales Ledger tasks, including posting bills, credit notes, and managing sales data.
5. Support Purchase Ledger processes, including invoice posting, preparing payments, supplier management, and staff expenses.
6. Prepare and post disbursements from Purchase Ledger invoices and staff expenses to the CCH database.
7. Support the Credit Controller by processing client payments over the phone or in person.
8. Assist in preparing monthly management reports.
9. Maintain and update the CCH client/contact database and Excel spreadsheets, including employee profiles.
10. Support daily timesheet processing, correcting postings, and following up on outstanding items.
11. Generate reports from CCH Practice Management and other ad hoc reports as needed.


Candidate Criteria

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a business administrative role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Understanding of in-house systems such as CRM, CCH, and Xero.
* Knowledge of general bookkeeping principles.
* Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
