Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation by managing accounts payable, assisting with data entry, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Familiarity with accounting software Sage would be advantageous in this role.
Responsibilities
* Process and manage accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.
* Assist Accounts Manager with month-end reporting.
* Calculate production hours accurately for payroll.
* Conduct data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
* Support the Accounts Manager in various administrative tasks as required.
* Answer telephone and deal with incoming and outgoing post.
Requirements
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.17 per hour
