- Monday to Friday with some on-call required Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting for a 360 Recruitment Contract Manager, to be based at our client site in Hatfield.
Your own full UK driving licence is essential, as travel to client siteswill be required.
Contract Manager
- Role & Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the site driver requirements Oversee the recruitment, on-boarding, and allocation of a pool of professional drivers Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring service levels and expectations are consistently met Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, driver hours, and legal requirements (e.g.
Working Time Directive, Microlise and DVLA checks) Monitor and manage driver performance, attendance, and conduct, taking appropriate action when necessary Conduct regular client reviews and attend site meetings to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities for improvement or growth Manage driver scheduling and rota planning to meet fluctuating client demands Support the recruitment team with forecasting needs and proactive driver pool development Ensure accurate record-keeping including contracts, time sheets, and compliance documentation Provide regular reports on KPIs, service delivery, and contract performance to internal stakeholders and clients Resolve issues and escalate where necessary to ensure service continuity and client satisfaction Please note that whilst this role is mostly managing HGV drivers, there may be some requirement to deal with warehousing flex-employees also.

Trainee Contract Manager
- Working Hours The role is Monday to Friday, and we are looking for someone who can meet the requirement for flexibility when it comes to working hours and days.
It is a full-time role, therefore 37.5 hours a week standard, but there will be requirements during busier periods for longer working hours and potential weekend working.Youwill also be required to undertake an on-call facility, which will be pre-planned on a rotational basis.
Contract Manager
- Candidate Requirements To be considered for this role: You will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally You must be able to work under your own initiative, as well as part of a larger team You should be confident with your own time management You will have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving You will understand the legal demands of working within the driving sector (such as WTD, HGV License requirements, Infringements etc) You will be able to demonstrateat least 12 months experience working in Recruitment within a transport environment.
