Role Overview: This position is ideal for a driven scientific, engineering, or computer science graduate who is eager to begin their career in the R&D Tax credit and grant incentives space. We are seeking a graduate to join Grant Thornton's expanding R&D Incentives practice where you will have the chance to develop hands-on experience and play a key part in the development and success of our business. Key Duties: Collaborate directly with clients from various industries, using your technical knowledge to assess the eligibility of R&D project activities for tax relief under Irish legislation and Revenue guidance. Take an active role on client engagements, support stakeholder interviews, and the identification of qualifying R&D activities. Assist in the drafting and preparation of submissions to Irish Revenue and funding bodies, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Assist in the preparation of proposals to prospective clients. Work across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring that quality standards and risk controls are consistently maintained. Candidate Profile: Scientific / engineering / computer science qualified or experienced. Masters degree or PhD desirable. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including a demonstrated ability to draft scientific reports, grant applications, or similar.
