The Role: Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced clinician to join the team, focusing on evening (4–9pm) and weekend (Saturday) work. Flexible hours can be discussed to suit your availability.
You’ll play a key role in conducting thorough assessments that support timely and accurate diagnosis of autism and ADHD, helping young people and families access the support they need.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Conduct structured face-to-face observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
* Lead developmental history interviews with parents/carers via Zoom
* Collaborate in multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians
* Deliver feedback to families in a compassionate and accessible manner
* Write high-quality clinical reports, supported by AI-assisted tools
* Meet service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Provide clinical supervision where appropriate
* Attend clinic bases for in-person assessments as required

Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a registered and experienced professional with a strong background in neurodevelopmental assessment. Specifically, you’ll need:
* Registration with one of the following:
* HCPC: Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologist
* At least 1 year of post-registration experience assessing children and young people for autism and/or ADHD
* Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and differential diagnoses
* Experience using tools like ADOS-2 and ADI-R
* Excellent report-writing and time management skills
* A collaborative, child- and family-focused approach
* Eligibility to work in the UK
