Position Details
* Base Location: Coventry
* Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
* Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)
* Office Location: Long Eaton
* Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (within 1 hour's drive, with occasional flexibility)

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing direct support and supervision to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
* Monitoring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting best practices.
* Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in assessments and planning.
* Conducting training for prospective and current foster parents.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster care. Ideal candidates will have:
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications.
* Strong IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
* A full driving license and access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
