Proven experience as a sliding head setter, with a strong understanding of Star sliding head and sliding head machines with Fanuc controls.
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain sliding head machines, including offset and tooling changes to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes as the industry evolves. Preferred Qualifications:
Technical diploma or certification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline.
Previous experience working in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Minimum 12 months experience. The working hours for this night shift are 20.00 - 06.00 Monday to Thursday. This is a permanent position, with monthly pay.
