Working within a small team, and reporting directly to the Payroll Supervisor, this is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop a career in Payroll.
Assisting with the day-to-day processing of a busy payroll function, specific responsibilities include entering payroll information, calculating wages, processing payments, and responding to internal and external queries.
Possessing a minimum Level 2 Maths qualification, the successful candidate will need to be highly organised, accurate, and have experience of working to deadlines in a payroll-related environment.
Strong IT skills (particularly Excel) and excellent communication skills are also essential, as is the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service, and an appreciation of data sensitivity and confidentiality.
The post holder will work 22 hours per week, ideally across 4 days (9:30am to 3:00pm each day) however some flexibility on these hours may be required to accommodate payroll deadlines, etc.
Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
