About the apprenticeship
Duties
We're excited to offer several Engineering Degree Apprenticeships—an ideal opportunity for anyone who has completed A‑Levels or a Level 3 BTEC in Engineering and wants to earn a Degree while gaining hands‑on experience. Over the four‑year programme, you'll spend one day a week at University (with travel to Swansea or Pontypridd) and the remaining time working within our engineering teams on structured rotations, contributing to real projects and learning directly from industry professionals.
Throughout the Apprenticeship, you'll rotate across key areas in manufacturing, engineering and design, giving you a full understanding of how a concept becomes a final product used by customers worldwide. For 2026, you can choose between Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, depending on your interests. On successful completion, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a full‑time position within your chosen engineering specialism at Safran Seats—launching your career with a global aerospace leader.
