Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time office‑based Business Support Team Leader to join our friendly SPA Team in Exeter. Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) offers an integrated model of children’s community services and we are looking to appoint enthusiastic individuals to strengthen our business support function. Position Details
* Part‑time: Three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
* Hours: 9am – 5pm
* Location: Office‑based, Capital Court, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2 7FW
Main Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day line management of up to eight direct reports.
* Handle all management issues such as workload, performance, absence, annual leave, appraisals and other HR matters.
* Oversee the team’s core duties including data entry, referral management, call handling, generic mailbox management and support the SPA administrative duty function with data validation.
* Maintain accurate data entry, referral processing and mailbox management.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential:
o GCSEs or equivalent
o Relevant administrative or IT qualification (e.g. ECDL, RSA, NVQ)
o Qualification or experience in supervisory or line management equivalent to NVQ 4 or higher
o Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
o Experience in line management of administrative staff and within a customer care, healthcare or social care setting
* Desirable:
o NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience
o Experience dealing with difficult HR/staffing issues, supervision of staff, HR processes and minute taking
Pay & Contract
Band 4 salary: £27,485 to £30,162 per annum pro rata. Permanent contract. Part‑time, flexible working.
