Job Title: Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyst
Location: Glascoed, South Wales
Salary: £53,928
What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining and adapting existing databases of models and simulations to support present and future requirements
Generating new models using commercial software to meet evolving client and business needs
Engaging in technical discussions and advisory sessions with colleagues and client representatives
Managing and conducting research tasks in collaboration with clients and the business to develop new capabilities
Collaborating with the team to expand and strengthen capabilities across Land UK to support future business growth
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
Holding a BSc or HND in Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field
Demonstrating significant experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Strong proficiency in MS Office for technical report writing and presenting results
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
Desirable
Experience using Star CCM+ or similar CFD software
Knowledge and practical use of various solvers and physics models
Proficiency in a programming language, such as Java, Python, Fortran, or VBA
