We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology to join our client’s team in Chichester. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination, and support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registration
* Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
* Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
* Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* NHS experience (preferred)
