The Best Connection are working with our Middlesbrough based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) NIGHT SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available
The role:
* Starting at the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.
* There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
* The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
* All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
* Achieving delivery slots
* Using website-based delivery scheduling
* Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork
The candidate:
* C+E (Class One) Licence
* In date CPC and DIGI Card
* Experience using "skelly" trailers
* Experience in driving "Mirror Cam" Trucks
Rewards:
* £16.60 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked
* Plus paid pro-rata Holidays
