Commissioning Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Commissioning Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer will be responsible for the commissioning, installation, service, maintenance, and testing of bespoke mechanical systems, predominantly containment systems for biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and aerospace markets. This is a workshop-based role in Stockport with worldwide travel and staying away when required (overtime and staying away allowances paid). Full product training will be provided.
The Commissioning Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer will ideally have extensive commissioning experience, a solid understanding of pneumatics and electrical systems, and hands‑on expertise with FAT/SAT. The role requires someone with a strong technical background who is flexible to travel and support a wide range of engineering activities.

Commissioning Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer Role
* Lead the commissioning, installation, service, and maintenance of containment isolators and associated mechanical systems.
* Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure systems meet all required specifications.
* Fault‑find and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components.
* Oversee mechanical assembly, airflow testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning processes.
* Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
* Workshop-based in Stockport with worldwide travel and staying away when required (overtime and staying away allowances paid).
Commissioning Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer Requirements
* Proven commissioning experience, with a solid background in mechanical systems, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
* Hands‑on expertise with FAT/SAT processes.
* Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components.
* Mechanical or electrical qualification, degree, or apprenticeship trained is advantageous.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work with a global manufacturer.
