Experience Practice Nurse | Merseyside
Aspire Locums is a recruitment business specialising in the medical and healthcare division.
We are currently looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to cover a GP practice in Merseyside to start ASAP, 30hrs per week flexible days Mon-Fri.
Duties include chronic disease management, cytology (smears), childhood immunisations. and other routine tasks performed in this role, some or which are listed below, but not exhaustive.
The post holder(s) should be suitably experienced working in a NHS primary care setting, qualified and hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (with an active/live PIN Number). Ideally, membership with the Royal College of Nursing would be advantageous but not essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Phlebotomy
Coil Fitting
Urinalysis
Swabs
ECG Procedures
Spirometry
Infection control management of equipment
Immunisations / vaccines (Child & Adult)
Contraception advice
General Family planning advice
Cervical Smear testing
Health promotion and lifestyle advice
Chronic disease management.
All mandatory training should be up to date.
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: Competitive
Duration: 12/12
Days: Flexible days, Monday-Friday
Contract Types: Temporary, Freelance, Permanent
