We are currently seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join our established team. How you'll make an impact As a Senior Claims Handler, you will: Provide high-quality, professional advice and support to clients regarding claims issues, ensuring their expectations are exceeded. Advise and update clients on relevant events and discussions throughout the claims process, ensuring complete customer satisfaction during potentially stressful times. Regularly assess the status of claims with clients, insurers, and/or their advisors/solicitors, keeping them informed of any new developments. Offer expert technical advice to clients throughout the lifecycle of their claims. Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while managing client expectations effectively. Maintain and develop your knowledge of the insurance market, legislation, and technical aspects of claims handling. Manage claims efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded in the system. Produce accurate claims statistics in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). About You To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience in handling Commercial Claims, with specific knowledge of Professional Risks/Financial Linesbusiness, including PI, ML, D&O, Cyber, and FI. A strong background in the insurance industry, with a focus on expert claims handling within professional risks. A client-focused mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and forward-planning abilities, with a keen eye for detail. The ability to identify potential risks and seek advice when necessary, adhering to company processes and applying due diligence. A proactive attitude and a desire to develop your career within a supportive and professional environment. Eligibility to work in the UK.
