Our client is looking to appoint a proactive and hands-on Duty Manager to join their team based in Inverness. This is a varied and rewarding role combining maintenance with operational leadership responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, supporting the day-to-day running of the facility, and contributing to a positive culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain the facility, completing all required log sheets and checklists.
* Stay up to date with best practices and implement improvements.
* Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Support diary scheduling to maximise usage and revenue.
* Promote a positive team culture and encourage collaboration.
* Assist in identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
* Support facility maintenance in collaboration with the General Manager and maintenance committee.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and Safe Systems of Work.
* Deliver an outstanding visitor experience at all times.
* Maintain all machinery, tools, and equipment in safe and good working condition.
* Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and regularly inspected.
* Provide support across bar, café, reception as required.
* Assist with event setup, delivery, and clear down.
