Role Overview We are seeking a Named Account Manager to take ownership of one of our key client relationships. This role requires a commercially driven individual with proven experience in managing large, strategic accounts within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service delivery, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining strong client satisfaction. This is a mid-tier level position suited for someone who is confident managing complex client portfolios and comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Act as the dedicated account manager for a named client, serving as their main point of contact. Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders to understand business goals and challenges. Deliver excellent client service through proactive communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the account to drive growth. Collaborate with internal departments including pre-sales, delivery, and vendor management to ensure seamless service delivery. Produce and present regular account reviews, performance reports, and strategic plans. Manage renewals, quotations, and pricing discussions in line with company standards. Stay informed on technology trends, vendor updates, and industry developments to add value to client engagements. Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in account management within a VAR or IT reseller environment. Track record of managing large, complex accounts with a focus on relationship-building and revenue growth. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (both internal and external). Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and negotiate effectively. Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented with a “safe pair of hands” approach to delivery. Confident working collaboratively across departments and with senior stakeholders. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 1 day per week in Coventry. Why Join Trustmarque?
