Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, with an expertise in mechanical actuation systems and hydraulics, to join our newly established Innovation and Advanced Development division of our dynamic, multidisciplinary R&D department.
As Lead Mechanical Design Engineer – Hydraulics, you will clearly interpret our medical device requirements and take full responsibility for originating innovative design.
You will develop complex CAD geometry, concurrently performing or overseeing digital simulations.
You will join a comprehensive team delivering medical devices suitable for economic manufacture.
Generating and evaluating detail engineering CAD geometry, demonstrating
~ accurate design intends, simulating dynamic motion, limits/fits and
~ Liaising with Systems engineering and clinical partners to capture user
~ Originating and maintain risk management documentation, (ISO 14971)
~ collaborating at design and project review meetings, comfortable
~ presenting technical data, with recommended actions.
~ Degree in Mechanical Engineer or related field.
Proven experience operating within a CAD environment.
