CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed-term, Part-time 14 hours per week (Thursday and Friday)
DEPARTMENT: Director's Office - Scotland
LOCATION: Pacific Quay - Glasgow
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata per annum depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide part-time secretarial/administrative support to both the Director, BBC Scotland and Legal Director, BBC Scotland.
This is a job share and would cover office hours on a Thursday and Friday in BBC Pacific Quay, Glasgow.

We intersect with many other parts of the BBC, especially news and editorial policy.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
In this role you will provide professional and confidential secretarial support to the Legal Department and the Scotland Director's Office.
You will assist with the running and organisation of both teams through tasks such as diary management, booking travel, handling incoming mail, receiving visitors, ordering hospitality, and maintaining legal records/information.
In addition to the above, you may be required to provide support on projects and events as appropriate.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
First class organisational skills with experience of liaising with senior level internal and external contacts, managing complex diaries
Ability to handle sensitive data confidentially and with tact and discretion
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent communication skills - verbally and written
IT skills - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
