Pay rate: PAYE: £26.30 LTD Max: £33.59
End date: 30/06/2026
Location: Crewe - Pyms Lane
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
International Travel involved - Global
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Vehicle Assessments: Take charge during dynamic and static validation events. You will evaluate vehicle readiness, conduct structured in-event assessments, and validate solutions while driving pre-production vehicles.
Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and manage weekly project activities. Your insights will help ensure that deliverables are met, and concerns are effectively communicated.
Problem Solving: Utilize your engineering skills to tackle complex design-related issues. Analyze data, identify root causes, and develop strategies to enhance vehicle performance.
Documentation & Reporting: Create clear and comprehensive reports detailing test results, concern logs, and validation outcomes. Your meticulous documentation will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.
Continuous Improvement: Maintain a forward-thinking approach by capturing learning experiences and keeping your team updated on the latest technologies in vehicle systems.
Experience:
* Experience in system testing, validation, or verification engineering within the automotive sector.
* Driving Proficiency: Comfortable driving pre-production vehicles and leading test convoys. A full UK driving license is essential!
* Technical Knowledge: Understanding of key automotive systems (powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment) and experience with data logging tools and test planning tools (Excel, JIRA).
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate across various levels, influencing colleagues and fostering collaboration.
* German Language: Proficiency in German is a plus and will be advantageous in this role.
