Position Overview
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Weights & Mass Properties Engineering Manager to join the BDS Air Dominance Flight Systems team located in Berkeley or St. Charles, MO. The manager will lead teams supporting multiple programs including F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, missile and weapons programs, and a lab. The role involves coordination with other weight and mass property managers across the site and enterprise. Reporting to a BDS Flight Engineering Senior Manager, responsibilities include Talent Management, Design Practices, Tools & Processes, Model Based Engineering (MBE), and Technical Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and motivate engineering teams focused on Weights and Mass Properties.
* Develop and execute project plans, manage risks, and establish policies and procedures.
* Oversee talent acquisition and support employee development and engagement.
* Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
* Approve technical approaches, products, and processes.
* Develop methods to resolve complex technical issues with innovation.
* Collaborate with program finance and scheduling as a cost account manager.
* This role may require occasional travel and is expected to be 100% onsite at Berkeley or St. Charles, MO.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting product development and technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
* At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams or projects.
Preferred Skills:
* Strong communication skills.
* Proactive leadership in dynamic environments.
* Competencies include adaptability, team building, cross-functional collaboration, customer focus, decision-making, and systems thinking.
* Technical knowledge in engineering processes, product knowledge, and project leadership.
Additional Information
* Relocation assistance may be available.
* Shift: 1st shift.
* This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated pay range: $127,500 - $172,500. Boeing offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, which may vary based on location and eligibility.
