Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our established and highly stable engineering team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems across our busy manufacturing facility.

The Role
As an electrically biased engineer, your responsibilities will include:
*
Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
*
Electrical fault-finding on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, and safety circuits
*
Working with PLCs, inverters, and drive systems to diagnose and rectify faults
*
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve reliability
*
Ensuring all work is completed in line with electrical safety standards and compliance
*
Providing limited mechanical support where required, while remaining electrically focused
What We’re Looking For
*
Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 minimum)
*
Apprentice trained or equivalent practical experience
*
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, and industrial control systems (advantageous)
*
Background in manufacturing, heavy engineering, FMCG, or production environments
*
Comfortable working independently on days-based maintenance activities
