Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving quality and excellence in education? DN Colleges Group is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Quality Assurance to lead and oversee quality assurance across our provision, including Education Programmes for Young People, Adult Education, and Apprenticeships.
Reporting to the Vice Principal Quality (Further and Higher Education), you will play a pivotal role in embedding a robust quality assurance framework, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with awarding body and regulatory requirements. This is a group-wide role, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on learner outcomes and institutional performance.
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A relevant degree and a recognised quality assurance qualification
2. Experience of leading quality assurance at an organisational level
3. Proven success in implementing quality systems that improve curriculum performance and learner outcomes
4. Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and awarding body compliance
5. Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
6. Lead the implementation of the Curriculum Accountability Framework across the group
7. Oversee internal and external quality assurance processes, including IQA and EQA requirements
8. Support accurate self-assessment and quality improvement planning
9. Line manage the Head of Performance and collaborate with curriculum leaders to drive improvement
10. Lead learner voice and engagement initiatives to shape the student experience
11. Contribute to the assessment of teaching, learning and CPD delivery
12. Ensure compliance with Ofqual and awarding organisation standards, including EPA
13. Build external networks to benchmark and share best practice

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
