Welsh-Speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant - Merthyr Tydfil
We are seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in the South East region in a full-time, long-term position. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children's early education and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to provide classroom support within the foundation phase of the primary school. Experience in supporting learners with diverse needs, including SEN and EBD, is highly desirable. Knowledge of safeguarding policies, the Ofsted framework, and relevant industry standards such as NVQ qualifications will be advantageous.
The role involves contributing to a positive, nurturing learning environment for children, delivering support in line with school policies and procedures. Fluency in Welsh and English is essential for effective communication with pupils and staff within the school community. Key responsibilities include assisting with lesson delivery, ensuring safeguarding protocols are maintained, and fostering a safe and engaging classroom environment.
This Primary School Teaching Assistant role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. The role offers a competitive daily rate of £88.92 and runs from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing stability for candidates seeking long-term work in the education sector.
