The College is looking to appoint a Lecturer A in Health and Social Care to teach across the Level 1 to Level 3 provision. You will be responsible for managing the learning process to ensure high quality provision leading to individual student success.
Ideally, you will:
* Hold a relevant degree in nursing
* Possess a PGCE / Cert. Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards
* Hold GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent
* Have experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector undertaking clinical skills
* Have excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage and prioritise
* Have experience of leading of leading students to the successful completion of their course
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Ability to communicate with a range of young people and adults on both theoretical and practical aspects
* Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including students and employers
* Demonstrate values and behaviours suitable to work with students and within the team
* To implement creative and inspirational teaching and learning strategies
* Work under pressures with changing priorities with good organisational and administrative skills
* As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
