Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid (2 days in the office per week)
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Advisor & Comms Support to join our team and start a rewarding career with us. In this role, you will deliver a high-quality HR service across a designated area, managing employee relations and lifecycle processes while supporting and coaching line managers to ensure fair and consistent people management. You will also assist in delivering clear and engaging internal communications, helping keep colleagues informed and aligned with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities as a HR Advisor & Comms Support:
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with line managers and colleagues, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, legislation, and best practice.
* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, balancing business and employee needs.
* Manage a caseload of employee relations matters end-to-end, coaching managers and escalating high-risk cases appropriately, including support with employment tribunals.
* Oversee short and long-term absence cases, guiding managers through processes to reduce absence and support effective returns to work.
* Coach and support managers across key people processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance, conduct, and exits.
* Collaborate with the wider HR team and contribute to broader departmental activities and projects.
* Support the development and review of HR policies and processes, ensuring legal compliance and keeping up to date with employment legislation.
* Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential employee records and HR systems, provide training to managers, and produce HR reports as required.
* Ensure GDPR compliance while supporting the delivery of the internal communications strategy and maintaining communication plans.
* Create, manage, and publish engaging internal communications across platforms, while supporting internal events, campaigns, and colleague engagement initiatives.
Requirements for a HR Advisor & Comms Support:
* English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent
* CIPD Qualified or studying towards qualification
* Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Employment law relating to discipline and grievance procedures.
* Experience of working within a HR Team
* Experience of using an HR System
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality
* Knowledge of HR and internal communication platforms
* Designing clear and fair Company policies
* Experience of using Workday HR System
