Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Rugby, Warwickshire Contract: 1 year, (26th April 2026 – 25th April 2027) Overview: We drive improvements to manufacturing execution, efficiency, quality, and cost through effective process design, production readiness, factory layout planning, and continuous optimisation of manufacturing methods. A key part of the role is ensuring that all preparations are in place so new products, equipment, and projects can be introduced into production safely, efficiently, and with robust quality controls. Reporting to the Manufacturing Readiness & Technologies Leader, the Lead Manufacturing Readiness Engineer plays a key role in developing and improving manufacturing processes for a new product within a purpose-built facility. This role focuses on delivering robust planning to ensure process capability, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and plant layout effectiveness. The successful candidate will lead have a strong background in CNC machining, support facility and equipment planning, and lead process planning to APQP standard.
