Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
* Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
* Develop and refine menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary techniques
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
* Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to foster professional growth and teamwork
* Ensure timely delivery of dishes during service hours while maintaining quality standards
* Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless customer service experiences
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a busy kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
* Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management
* Previous experience in food production, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly desirable

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
