We're recruiting an experienced Senior Housing Standards Officer to join a housing and regulatory services team, delivering high-quality investigative and enforcement activity across the private rented sector. This role will suit a senior housing enforcement professional with strong experience in inspections, HHSRS assessments and formal enforcement action, who is also confident mentoring colleagues and supporting service improvement. You'll play a key role in improving housing conditions, ensuring landlord compliance and protecting tenants, while supporting the wider delivery of regulatory services. The role will be delivered on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the office, working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to attend site visits on a regular basis and must therefore have access to their own vehicle.
