Teaching Responsibilities: Develop, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of children, focusing specifically on EY (reception) curriculum requirements and learning objectives. Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing consistent feedback and setting EY (reception) improvement targets. Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials that enhance learning experiences and share best practices for EY (reception) education. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and positive relationships among EY (reception) children. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on EY (reception) student progress and address any concerns specific to EY (reception). Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required, with a focus on EY (reception) educational strategies. Requirements: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching EY (reception) children in a primary school setting. Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
