Finance Manager
Location: Portsmouth
Salary up to £50,000

We are working exclusively with this lovely Hotel in Portsmouth to recruit a Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager will be part of the senior management team and have 1 person reporting in to them.
Main Objectives of the role of Finance Manager are:
Daily Tasks:
* Check Bank Accounts and post transactions to Sage
* Check Emails
* Reconcile Actual Card Payments to Guestline Payments.
* Attend 10 @ 10 Meetings
Weekly Tasks:
* Attend HOD Meeting – Produce Salary and Income Actual and Forecast Analysis
* Attend Revenue Meeting – Produce Forecast Income Analysis
Monthly Tasks:
* Produce Management Accounts
* Update Fixed Asset Register
* Balance Sheet Reconcilation
* Pay Suppliers
Annual Tasks:
* Produce Budget
* Produce Capital Expenditure Budget
Monthly Reports Produced:
* Rooms Lead Times
* Outstanding Debtors
* Food and Beverage Income by Product
Oversee Cashing up and Payroll functions
Payroll would need to be processed by Finance Manager in absence of payroll/finance assistant
Cashing up is covered by Finance Manager when the finance assistant is on holiday
The finance assistant posts the Supplier Invoices and Credit Notes
Systems used:
* Sage Accounting and Payroll
* Microsoft Excel
* Reslynx/Guestline/Access Booking System
* Newbridge EPOS system
* Trust Payments/Omnipay for Card reconciliations
* Outlook for Email
