Shift Patterns:
* Monday 6.45am–11.45am
* Tuesday 6.45am–11.45am
* Wednesday 6.45am–11.45am
* Alternative Thursday 6.45am–11.45am
* Every Thursday 3.00pm–5.30pm
* Alternative Friday 11.30am–1.30pm; 3.00pm–5.30pm; 6.30pm–9.00pm
* Alternative Saturday and Sunday 6.45am–11.45am; 6.30pm–9.00pm
Location: Barnsley, Penistone and the surrounding areas
This role requires you to be physically present in a specific geographic area due to the nature of the work (e.g. on-call duties, rapid response needs, rota-based care, or services sensitive to travel time).
If you live 30 minutes outside the area and do not intend to relocate, this could significantly impact your ability to perform the role safely and reliably, for example, reaching service users on time or being available for urgent visits.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans
* Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required
* Promoting independence and encouraging service users to engage in daily living tasks
* Building positive relationships with individuals and their families
* Supporting emotional well-being and recognising signs of distress or changes in behaviour
* Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home
* Respecting confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries at all times
What You’ll Need

* Driving licence and own vehicle essential (We pay 30p per mile fuel allowance)
* Weekend availability (alternative weekends or 1 day per weekend)
