Assembly TechnicianOur client, a leading company in the Automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for building the world's first purpose-built battery and solar-powered Clean Tech. In this role, you will work closely with the operations and engineering teams to assemble units according to precise specifications and detailed instructions. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to safety protocols are vital in maintaining the highest standards of production. This is a permanent position based in Surrey.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding production of Clean TechSupporting with kitting parts for development and production buildsMaintaining component traceability and ensuring the highest quality standards with minimal scrapTroubleshooting and resolving any assembly issues or discrepancies to maintain production schedulesClosely following assembly instructions and maintaining accurate documentationAdhering to safety protocols and guidelinesParticipating in continuous improvement activities to enhance assembly processesMaintaining a clean and organised work areaQualifications & ExperienceExperience in the Automotive sector, Prototype Build, Motorsport, Aerospace, or Commercial VehiclesExcellent demonstrable 'hands-on' skills in both R&D and production environmentsAbility to interpret engineering information in multiple formatsGood awareness of Health and Safety regulationsNice to HaveElectrical harnessing experience - fitting/reworking harnesses, LV and HV componentsExperience working in an assembly environment with elements of Automatic AssemblyForklift licenceIf you are an Assembly Technician with a passion for Clean Tech and want to be part of an innovative company, apply now
