Job Information
Deliver excellent service standards for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements.
Main Duties
1. Undertake all required training to deliver the caretaking role.
2. Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
3. Keep all equipment clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
4. Have full knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals used by Mitie.
5. Maintain the safety, security, and cleanliness of the school premises and grounds.
6. Perform cleaning of slippery floors, spillages, bodily fluids, and emergency cleaning tasks.
7. Monitor helpdesk jobs and address/close them within the specified timelines and SLAs.
8. Act as key holder, unlocking and locking buildings as needed.
9. Carry out porterage duties as per SLAs and school requests.
10. Maintain cleanliness by removing litter from internal and external areas.
11. Respond to helpdesk jobs and provide feedback or resolve issues.
12. Empty internal and external bins.
13. Set up rooms for exams and events, then restore to normal layout.
14. Perform PPM tasks, including fire alarm tests, sprinkler tests, and emergency light tests.
15. Cover out-of-hours building usage on a rota basis.
16. Escort contractors and ensure access is provided safely, especially if DBS clearance is not available.
17. Follow safeguarding policies and report concerns.
18. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
19. Perform any other related duties as required.
