If you offer experience in research administration this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role providing administrative support for all research-related activities at London College of Fashion (LCF).
As a Research and Knowledge Exchange Administrator you will provide comprehensive financial administrative support for the researcher community, including academics and PhD students, maintaining accurate financial records and processing grant claims.
You will maintain and update records and databases of research activities and PhD student
information, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility, as well as prepare detailed reports for committees and senior management teams to support strategic decision-making.
You will also provide general administrative support to the Research and Knowledge Exchange office, ensuring smooth daily operations and workflow management.
About you
You will need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Administration, Finance, or related discipline) and experience in research administration or related experience in the creative sector.
You will need the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
An understanding of grant management systems and tools and the ability to analyse data and generate reports is equally important, as is familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a research context.
