Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator with 0 to 3 years of experience in hardware and network troubleshooting for laptops and desktops. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in operating system installation, software installation, and troubleshooting in both Windows and Ubuntu environments. Additionally, the candidate should possess networking knowledge, including understanding of IP addresses, subnets, DNS, firewall configurations, and basic Linux administration commands.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues for laptops and desktops.
2. Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal system performance.
3. Conduct OS installations, configurations, and updates for both Windows and Ubuntu environments.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve OS-related issues promptly.
5. Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications on user systems.
6. Provide support for software-related problems and collaborate with vendors if needed.
7. Manage IP addresses, subnets, and DNS configurations.
8. Configure and troubleshoot firewalls and VPNs to ensure secure network communication.
9. Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory services.
10. Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
11. Administer and maintain Zimbra Mail Server.
12. Troubleshoot email-related issues and ensure smooth communication flow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficient in OS installation, software installation, and troubleshooting in Windows and Ubuntu environments.
* Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addresses, subnets, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
* Basic knowledge of Linux administration commands.
* Experience in managing Microsoft Active Directory services.
* Familiarity with Zimbra Mail Server administration.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Certifications such as RHCSA and MCSA are a plus.
