Impact and Partnership and Development Manager, Immersive Business

We are now investing in a new Directorate of Innovation, Impact, and Business to drive forward our already strong relationships with businesses; grow our potential for significant impact, and galvanize regional innovation.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced applicant to join the team as part of the delivery team on the Immersive Business project. Immersive Business is delivered in partnership with Falmouth University, the lead, and is well aligned to other business support programs in the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly LEP area, including the Growth Hub. It is funded through the European Regional Development Fund and forms part of the European Strategic Investment Framework for Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly.
Immersive Business is creating an environment that stimulates and supports Innovation, Collaboration, and Research & Development to drive the development of new products and services, and complementary approaches that will improve productivity and deliver sustainable economic growth for Cornish SMEs and micro businesses regionally and beyond. It is a partnership between the University of Exeter and Falmouth University which have developed a program of activities to engage businesses, help them develop innovative ideas around AR, VR, and MR to business challenges, and deliver technical solutions.
The purpose of the post is to manage stakeholder and business relations, to support business development through research, development, and innovation, to seek out and develop knowledge exchange opportunities, to identify research impact, to help manage the project, and provide support to the academic and professional leads in the strategic development, planning, financial and operational aspects of the Project.
The project is based at the University of Exeter Penryn campus, Cornwall.
