We’re on the hunt for a passionate Commis Chef ready to sharpen their skills in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where no two days are the same. Job responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking food for our hotel guests Having full knowledge of all menu items served Work collaboratively with the other chefs regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage Work collaboratively with the other chefs regarding the maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards Maintaining food hygiene and health and safety standards Working with the other chefs to make sure all shift opening and closing checklists are completed Learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks and undertake relevant kitchen training as required The ingredients for success: Excellent awareness of food hygiene standards Driven to learn and develop as a chef Basic kitchen experience Basic culinary skills Team player Good communication skills High energy and a positive 'can-do' attitude Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to work some weekends, bank holidays and evenings. 5 out of 7 days per week. You will be working on a seasonal, variable-hours contract at an hourly rate of £10.00–£12.21 (depending on age). This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis from March to November 2026.
