Overview
Role: Cleaner at Lift Offa's Mead. Contract: Fixed term, part-time, 12.5 hours per week.
Salary: NJC 2 £12.60 per hour; £23,656 (FTE) + wellbeing cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits. Hours: 12.5 hours per week (3:00pm – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday). There is flexibility on hours outside 8:00am – 3:00pm. Free childcare for school-aged children Mon – Thurs for those who can work the 3:00pm – 5:30pm shift. This is a 42 weeks per year role.
Start date: Immediate start date.
Responsibilities
* Creating clean, safe and welcoming classrooms every day.
* Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school.
* Work under the direction of cleaning supervisors; able to work both in a team and independently.
* Experience in cleaning large premises and familiarity with COSHH requirements is desirable, although full training will be provided.

Location: Lift Offa's Mead is located in Gloucestershire, near Chepstow, with commuting access to Bristol and Wales. About a third of pupils are from military families from nearby Beachley Barracks.
