Our client is a luxury small family-run hotel located in the stunning Scottish Highlands and are currently looking for a professional, friendly and proactive Receptionist to join their close-knit team.
This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys taking initiative and responsibility, delivering outstanding guest service and being at the heart of a small, well-run hotel.
The Role As Receptionist, you will be the main point of contact for all guests and will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel. Your responsibilities will include:
Handling all hotel enquiries via phone, email and in person
Providing a warm, professional welcome and ensuring guests receive an excellent first impression
Managing bookings, room allocations, check-ins and check-outs
Adding value to guest stays by assisting with dining reservations, local activities and days out
Liaising with housekeeping and checking rooms are serviced to the highest standards
Ensuring the hotel is well looked after, organised and running smoothly during your shift
Dealing confidently and calmly with guest queries and requests
What We're Looking For A confident, friendly and professional manner
Someone who can work independently, take ownership and use initiative
Strong communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
Previous hotel or customer-facing experience is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate
