We're looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Plumbing to join our Skilled Industries department at the Wycombe Campus of Buckinghamshire College Group. As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons, while supporting students throughout their learning journey. You will work across a range of programmes, ensuring learners achieve their full potential and progress successfully into employment or further study. This is an exciting time to join Buckinghamshire College Group as we launch a new course, offering the opportunity to help shape and deliver an innovative programme from the outset. Alongside a rewarding teaching role, you'll benefit from a £6,000 Industry Supplement Payment (ISP) to recognise your valuable industry experience. You may also be eligible for a Targeted Retention Incentive (TRI) payment provided by the Department for Education, offering additional financial support as you transition into teaching (subject to eligibility criteria). Salary: £31,200 - £35,880 per annum, plus £6,000 (Industry Sector Payment) Location: Wycombe Contract: Full-time (35 hours per week/52 weeks per year) As a Lecturer - Plumbing, you will: Teach and inspire students interested in plumbing, helping them build essential technical skills Bring the world of plumbing to life through innovative and hands-on teaching methods Create a positive, collaborative learning environment for students to thrive Complete administrative tasks as needed to support student success Why join Buckinghamshire College Group? Taking Teaching Further The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education. As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
