Duties
* Monitor and maintain computer networks ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems.
* Offer technical support to end-users.
* Assist with desktop support tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
* Manage user accounts and permissions within Microsoft Office applications and other enterprise software tools.
* Support network infrastructure by configuring routers, switches, and firewalls to uphold security standards.
* Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations accurately for future reference.
* Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements to maintain organisational compliance.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of computer networking principles.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
* Experience with desktop support tasks such as hardware repair, OS installation, and peripheral setup.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
* Competence in using Microsoft Office suite for documentation and user support purposes.
* Understanding of computer hardware components and their maintenance requirements.
