Buyer (Junior to Intermediate)
Location: Gloucester - Hybrid

Arca Resourcing is supporting a growing specialist engineering business in Gloucester operating within the UK energy and infrastructure sector to appoint a Buyer.
This opportunity is open to both junior and experienced Buyers. You do not need to come from utilities or transmission, candidates from construction, manufacturing, engineering, or other project-based environments are encouraged to apply.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will support live projects with day-to-day procurement activity, with particular emphasis on:
Raising and managing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials and services are delivered on time
Supporting negotiations on pricing and lead times
Working closely with project teams to align procurement with programme requirements
Maintaining clear and compliant procurement records
About You
Experience in a Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Procurement role
Strong attention to detail, particularly around purchase order control
Organised, proactive and commercially aware
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
