Our Role
As an Environmental Advisor, you will support the Section HSEQ Manager in ensuring all environmental, consents, and sustainability matters are effectively implemented as outlined in the HSEQ Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities
You will be part of the HSEQ Team, working as an integrated member of the Compliance Team, advising and guiding the Operational Team on relevant issues to facilitate compliant construction.
Assist with monitoring, producing, and implementing permits and consents as required.
Implement environmental construction compliance policies and procedures; assist with reporting and site audits to ensure controls are in place.
Support the Cadent Gas Construction Management Organisation (CMO) in delivering gas main replacement (MRP) and non-mains works.
Update progress and improvements in the Annual Work Stack Plan, maintain the legal register, and stay informed of legislative changes, especially concerning environmental aspects of NMRP works, to protect the environment.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in an engineering environmental role is preferred but not essential.
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Ability to interpret data and address non-compliance issues.
Degree or equivalent in a relevant environmental discipline.
IEMA membership or similar affiliation preferred, to be obtained within 12 months.
Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Full driving license.
