The Discovery Academy is seeking to appoint a Site Supervisor to form part of the Facilities Team. The successful candidate should have proven industry experience of carrying out routine general maintenance with a commitment to a high standard of working and also have a good understanding of security issues. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
Principal: Ms J Schofield | Required: As soon as possible | Facilities Assistant | Level 4 | Actual Salary (£25,185 - £26,403) | 37 hours per week | Whole Year.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine general maintenance and respond to facilities issues as part of the Facilities Team.
* Maintain and monitor security measures in line with school policies.
* Engage professionally with staff, students and visitors in clear spoken English.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven industry experience in routine general maintenance.
* Strong commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety.
* Good spoken English to communicate with staff and students.
* Flexibility to work 37 hours per week, across the whole year, at Level 4.
