Production team leader

Would you like to join us as a Butchery Team Leader? You will support the safe and effective running of the butchery area. You will lead a team on shift and make sure products are prepared to the right quality, safety, and performance standards. This role sits within the Team Leader job family and is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the butchery team on shift. Set clear tasks and priorities for the team. Ensure products meet agreed quality and safety standards. Monitor product specification and raise issues when needed. Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety controls are followed. Support the safe use of machinery and equipment. Help the team meet daily production targets. Complete required checks, records, and reports. Support training and development of team members. Keep work areas clean, safe, and well organised.
